Welcome to our website
At the IFPD, we know that there are physically disabled people everywhere in the
world that long for a different kind of life - whether it is to participate in a sport you
love, or to work to support your family, or simply to do everyday tasks like grocery
shopping... We also understand that everyone's situation is different and a lack of
insurance, inaccessibility, or even war, can mean that you cannot get what you
need. Our goal is to help disabled individuals reach their goals...becoming functional
members of society, and increasing their quality of life. We are inspired by your
stories of motivation, determination, endurance and hope.
If you need a prosthesis, external bracing or another medical device that will enable
you to live the life you imagine, contact us with your story at information@theifpd.org
and we will consider your situation based on our board determined criteria and
available funds. "Where there is perfection there is no story to tell"...
